Ottawa Horse Show Highlights
Ottawa, Ontario – Two weeks of show jumping competition gets underway with the Ottawa National and CSI3* Ottawa International Horse Shows opening on Wednesday, July 12, at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa, ON. The Ottawa National Horse Show runs daily July 12 to 16, with the CSI3* Ottawa International Horse Show running July 19 through 23.
Highlights of the Ottawa National Horse Show are as follows:
Friday, July 14th
12 p.m.: $20,000 Wellings of Stittsville Open Welcome
4 p.m.: $10,000 Canadian Hunter Derby
Saturday, July 15th
1 p.m.: $2,500 Royal LePage Team Realty Canine Equine Relay
$7,500 Lynn Millar Memorial Speed Derby
Sunday, July 16th
2:30 p.m.: $50,000 Brookstreet Hotel Grand Prix
The CSI3* Ottawa International Horse Show, which now enjoys three-star status with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) thanks to increased prize money, opens the following week on Wednesday, July 19. Event highlights include:
Thursday, July 20th
3 p.m.: $40,000 CSI3* RBC Welcome
Saturday, July 22nd
2 p.m.: $100,000 CSI3* Grand Prix
Sunday, July 23d
2 p.m.: $35,000 CSI3* AECON Jumper Classic
Admission to the Ottawa National and CSI3* Ottawa International Horse Shows is $5 a day at the gate, with weekly admission passes available for $20. Children aged three and under are admitted free. Parking at Wesley Clover Parks is free, with horse-drawn wagon rides available to take attendees from their vehicles to the competition ring.

Amber Marshall will be making a special guest appearance at the Ottawa National Horse Show on Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16. The star of star of CBC’s award-winning Heartland, Marshall will emcee festivities on Wesley Clover Parks’ expansive grass grand prix field.
Family-friendly ‘Celebration of the Horse’ activities take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 14, 15 and 16 and July 21, 22 and 23, offering a kids’ zone with bouncy castles and slides, face painting, balloon and glitter artists, children’s jumps, demonstrations, and many more activities.
