Annville, PA – July 19, 2017 The summer is heating up and riders competing in the North American League (NAL) are swiftly gaining points that will take them to the top of the standings, along with a chance to compete at this year’s NAL Finals this fall.

The NAL qualifying season runs from September 1 through August 31. NAL qualifying classes are open to all competitors, but only current members are awarded points. By joining the NAL, riders can accumulate the points necessary to make it to the National Finals held at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA, October 12-21, and the West Coast Finals at the International Jumping Festival hosted by Blenheim EquiSports in San Juan Capistrano, CA, September 20-24. Annual memberships are only $40 per rider.
As of mid-July, Victoria Clarke of Chevy Chase, MD, leads the Adult Hunter standings aboard Uptown with 3,846 points, followed by second-placed Jef Lauwers of Magnolia, TX, and XOXO with 3,355 points. Kendall Meijer of Grand Haven, MI, and Moonwalk are in third place with 3,157 points, earning over 370 points in the past month.
In the Children’s Hunter division, Henry Healy of Cincinnati, OH, and Dakapo are leading the pack with 3,050 points. Sofia Roberts of Wilmington, OH and Kingston Lane have moved into second place with 2,166 points, while and Emma Moulton of Spotsyvlyania, VA, now sits in third place aboard What’d I Say with 1,978 points.
The 2015 Adult Jumper Final Champion Lindsey Tomeau of West Palm Beach, FL, and Bonapart, who have led the Adult Jumper division Presented by SmartPak all season, continue to top the division by a huge spread on 5,165 points, earning 755 points just this past month. Maggie McCormack of Wellington, FL, and Finale have moved into second place with 3,554 points, while third placed Phoenix Cooke of Chardon, OH,  and Skys Burnin Blue are hot on their heels with 3,516 points.

Grace Klein of St. Charles, IL, and Nabuco have leapt into the lead in the Children’s Jumper division presented by EquiFit with 4,121 points. Hailey Berger of Parkland, FL, is in second place aboard Shannondale Gino with 3,078 points – just 22 points ahead of third placed Mia Albelo of Coconut Grove, FL, and Cassandra Dreams with 3,056   points.

With the top fifty riders in the quadruple digits, the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper division is proving to be highly competitive. Catalina Peralta of Geneva, FL, and Chopin Z are leading the way with 5,692 points, while Logan Marksbury from Lexington, KY, has moved into second place aboard Esquire with 5,398 points. Olivia Lawton of Burr Ridge, IL, and G.P.S. Brilliant Disguise are sitting in third place with 5,193 points.
Jef Lauwers of Magnolia, TX, and XOXO is leading the West Coast Adult Hunter division with 3,355 points while Christina Smith of Villa Park, CA, and Chancellor are in second place with 2,638 points. Dana Brawley of  Double Oak, TX, is in third place with Caymus on 2,052 points.
Jaden Porter of Ladue, MO, and Dragonfly’s Acerado lead the West Coast Children’s Hunter standings with 1,733 points – over 160 points ahead of second placed Katalina Rickard of Sherman Oaks, CA, and Prime Time who have earned 1,565 points. CeCe Siegfried of Tulsa, OK, rounds out the top three aboard Finally Found with 1,484 points.

Leading the West Coast Adult Jumper standings Presented by SmartPak is Tara Brown Stocks of Coto De Caza, CA and High Hopes who have 1,165 points. Sitting in second place is Nicole Lyvere of Lakewood, CO, and Tiggerr with 1,040 points, followed by Caitlyn Epperson of Houston, TX and Au Girl with 963 points for third place.

The West Coast Children’s Jumper standings Presented by EquiFit is also a fairly tight race, as Ashley Vogel of Mequon, WI, and Twist Des Fortes continue to lead the division with 1,102 points. Amanda Pennington, also of Mequon, WI, and Zeldenrust Z have taken over the second placed spot with 975 points, while third placed Alyce Bittar of Los Angeles, CA, and Beirut ‘B’ have 950 points.

Continuing to lead the West Coast Low Junior/Amateur Jumper standings isOlivia Chowdry of Denver, CO, and Douer with a massive 5,107 points, earning 529 points since last month. Ellie Yeager of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Lyla have maintained second place with 1,862 points followed by Sedona Chamblee of Keller, TX, and Optimal Hastak who are in third place with 1,774 points.
